Another idea based around taking input from the phone and matching it within a database.
My sister has a phone with that music database matching service. I didn't think it would really be all that interesting, but it did match just about any song I would throw at it. (Not some of the indie stuff, but some really obscure songs.) She's found some really little known South African band from some clip on TV.
