  • Another great VC game released: Earthworm Jim (Genesis)

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

Not a bad couple of months. For the record, Gradius 2 for the TG-16 was released last week; not sure if anyone is particularly interested, but it is one that does have a hardcore fanbase.

These last couple of months feel like 1994-96 all over again with all the great 16-bit releases.

Fuck that... it was a great Saturday morning cartoon!

Evil Earthworm Jim: See, everything you hate, I love, and everything you love, I hate.
Earthworm Jim: Really?
Evil Earthworm Jim: You know when you brush your teeth and then go drink orange juice?
Earthworm Jim: God! I hate that!
Evil Earthworm Jim: I love it!

Earthworm Jim: Quick, little buddy! Whip me! Whip me!
Peter Puppy: I beg your pardon?
Earthworm Jim: I mean, use me like a whip!
Peter Puppy: Oh! Heh. Right.

Peter Puppy: I must not fear, fear is the mindkiller, fear is the little death that brings total oblivion...

Peter Puppy: Once again, evil is as rotting meat before the maggots of justice!
Earthworm Jim: Thank you for cramming that delightful image into my brain, Peter.
