countless men and destroyed many nations? Where is he now? He stands
before your very eyes to become your new ruler. HAHAHAHAHA.

"A new era has just begun. Rest assured, you fools. Your time will come. This is only the beginning. Let us start a new reign of terror. I will let you live a fantasy beyond your imagination.

"Let us end this ceremony with a sacrifice!"

...thought it was a nice speech. Dramatic, not too vitrolic, sweeping, and making a lot of bold promises.

Not as good as his acceptance speech, but then again--this wasn't as unscripted.

I started watching right as that Obama dude decided to say a few words. Pretty cool, I thought, this show might be alright. Everybody seemed really excited and jumping around like. Then that horrible woman read a shitty poem, that nobody else apparently read over, in an offensively hilarious robotic monotone. That little church guy was pretty funny tough, so he kind of redeemed it. Then I had to go to work so I didn't watch the rest but my buddy Alf says it had kind of a shitty ending so don't bother.

Decent from what I watched. When is the next episode?

That poet hurt the ratings so much the network's pulling the whole season :\ Did you see how quickly everyone started leaving?? They may try to retool it and try it again but that won't be for another 4 years or so.

Unfortunately I don't think the pilot was picked up. With such a large budget (having to rent out the entire area around the White House, over 2 million extras, the sheer star power) and lackluster ratings due to the audience rejecting some of the big supporting characters, looks like all of the networks took a pass.

Too bad, it had a promising outlook. They just needed time to get it straight
