It is to LMAO. The caption my friend shared this with on Facebook was originally actually "in effort to prevent gay marriage, Texas accidentally bans ALL marriage, I tell you what."

I would say as punishment, they should really revoke all marriages.

I just love it because the wording in their clause is so unnecessary. Everybody knows Texas is not going to pass any kind of genuine gay marriage bill as a state, at least at the moment.

But is that enough? No, they have to go further and ban anything even CLOSE to gay marriage, which is what we really mean, I tell you what, only they forgot to add the word "gay" before the word "marriage" when they decided to ban anything "identical to it".

Stupidity, man. People ought to just say what they mean.

Oddly, the thought going through my mind right now, though only tangentially connected to all this, is noting that my avatar still says "Fuck bitches", which sentiment and language is about the only thing I disagreed with out of the picture.

If I'm going to advocate against the word "homo" I better add that one too...can't have real gay rights without real women's rights, too, and one of them ought to be us guys trying our best not to slur our women all the time.

So, I'll figure out what to do with that. Probably ought to just change the avatar, as having censorship or alteration when the pic involves the Founding Fathers just seems wrong somehow.
