somebody I'm arguing on Facebook with wrote:your
Pronunciation: \yər, ˈyu̇r, ˈyȯr\
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English ēower; akin to Old English ēow you — more at you
Date: before 12th century
1 : of or relating to you or yourself or yourselves especially as possessor or possessors <your>, agent or agents <your>, or object or objects of an action <your>
2 : of or relating to one or oneself <when>
3 —used with little or no meaning almost as an equivalent to the definite article the <your>

Proof your not as smart as you think you are Drew...
This is after I'd corrected him on using "your" improperly the first time.

I shit you not. I could not make these things up...

Why did I study so hard in third grade? Why? I could have been playing with Windex under the sink instead and/or getting a head start on my mack game with little eight-year-old vixens...

Just tell him you're is a contraction of "you are" and the 2 should be swappable in sentences.

Vixens, I say.

The girls at my elementary school were having sleepovers watching X-rated cartoons by about fifth grade...and what was I doing? Studying algebra.

By the way, Sera, this dude followed up this gem by saying he suspected I was a Canadian al-Qaeda terrorist with no girlfriend and a tiny dick, so I'm not sure how much good anything would have done in the argument department.

You can't argue with that.

Not that it's true I mean...
