Caprica - I like this series =)

It is a spin-off series of Battlestar Galactica. Although it is much heavier on the Sci-fi, but ironically takes place in a more recognizable environment to us. I recommend this to anyone here.

It's a sort of a re-imagining of Serial Experiment Lain with Cylons.

I've been avoiding it because the ads claimed that it was "made by the same producers as BSG". Of course, these guys would be Sci-fi, who are the same producers as SS Doom Trooper and Boa vs Python, etc. So, it sounded like they ditched the writers, took their own IP, and made something to milk that cash cow.

Does that sound right, or is the writing actually good?

Roger D. Moore is the one who did the latest Battlestar Galactica series, and is also doing Caprica.

I am finding it to be fairly interesting so far; but right now I am also tied up in the Battlestar Galactica series; so I might find it better than someone who wasn't.

It's too soon to tell for me, but two episodes in and I don't care for any of the characters.
