Was watching some random Chinese soap opera on TV which went something like this:

Some guy married some woman, who later somehow died.

The guy then married that woman's sister.

Of course the woman turned out to be still alive and tried to stab the guy at the day of the wedding.

The attempt fails and the woman's wounded.

The man took the woman home to treat her. The guy's mother comes and wonder what crazy guy just tried to assassinate his son but the man told his mother it's nothing to be concerned about (so the mother didn't know that the assassin was his ex-wife).

The man also apparently failed to tell the woman's sister (who he was supposed to marry) that her sister somehow didn't die.

I guess this is supposed to lead to more drama or something.

Now I realize these soap opera are at the bottom of the barrel in terms of plot quality, but I think you can literally come up with something better than that by asking someone who has an A in English in junior high or better. Even Megaman has a more consistent plot than this.

Sometimes I wonder how people get the job of writing plots for various media, because it sure seems like it doesn't take much.
