  • I just picked up Pavements rerelease of their '94 album 'Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain'.  How the hell did I miss this in '94?

  • Your favorite band sucks, and you have terrible taste in movies.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Seriously, the rerelease awesome. I paid 21.99 Cdn so about 17 US for 48 songs on 2 CD's. I was very much into the indie scene back in the late 80's early 90's due to some radical Older siblings of my friends. The world of the Pixies, Sonic Youth, Stone Roses, the Velvet Underground and Violent Femmes was opened to me. And many more. While I've heard of Pavement, even now I recognize 'Range Life' even if I didnt' know the title before or who sang it.

Damn, great great band and a great album. Really too bad they didn't get the recognition of some of the other bands that came and went in that era. Pavement is much better than the wave of shit that followed Nirvana.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It's really strange, they took the grunge/alternative style and worked it into every other form of music, totally fucking it up in the process. As a result, rock and most pop music generally sucked ever since. It's like what happened in the mid-late 80's after the New Wave pop movement, only on a larger scale.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>I used to own that... I wonder what happened to it. I remember that it had like 99 tracks on it or something. "Eurotrash girl" was my favorite song. There was another grunge classic on there "Low". I remember they used to play that one on the radio all... the... time...</div>
