  • I'm actually looking very forward to E3 this year...

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

There are a number of new developments in the industry:

1) The next generation consoles will be unveiled, that could be exciting depending on how much they actually reveal.
2) Final Fantasy 12 and Legend of Zelda, we'll see a lot from those games.
3) It was recently announced by Anouma that there is a Zelda game in the works for DS, he sounded excited about it but has been upset that nothing can be shown of it yet.
4) Square Enix has announced that they want to heavily increase production of games so that they will be releasing about one game per month; this could either be a really good thing or a bad thing. For me, I tend to like to replay games and don't need a steady supply of new games, so I am not so sure about this move.
5) Namco, I can't wait to see what sort of new developments have come from this company. I see them as a serious force in the RPG market later on. Perhaps one day they will surpass Square Enix.
6) Sega, what will they have in store? I will hope some more for Skies of Arcadia 2.

I know, I was really excited about getting to go this year. Not that I have that option anymore. *sigh*
