In honor of an underrated drug...

Damned if I just don't get contemplative when I've used some cannabis...it's so ironic that Bush, et. al., are fighting this huge war on cannabis, and at the same time fighting a huge war overseas...

Well, perhaps it's a small war, in historical terms, but I still think it sucks. I rarely if ever want to fight anyone on cannabis, and I've had serious temper issues in the past. I wonder what would happen if Cheney, et. al., ever seriously got high on pot. But it's too fine a night to spoil by talking about all this.

Who else is a fan of the green leaf and orange bud? Pity but what we can't talk about it without fear of the powers that be. Though, realistically, this is about as safe a place as any.

I'm not a big fan, only tried it a couple times in HS, though.

I realize it is totally sterotypical, but i know too many dumb as rocks people who are potheads to have a good feeling toward the stuff.

Well, like any drug of any real power, I do believe consistent use will mess you up good. I've seen people who just have no drive or ambition and can't remember a thing, and that seems likely attributable to cannabis. But I don't think there's any harm, and there may be a lot of good, in occasional and moderate recreational use. 'Course, that's my feeling on most drugs.
