That's essentially what I'm doing. Trying to create a patch2mod program so that I can convert diff-formatted patches to MOD file for phpBB. It's a bitch to try to figure out exactly what is the best way to format a FIND/ADD phrase or FIND/REPLACE phrase with all of the different combinations of adding/subtracting/replacing lines that the diff file will spit out.
I feel like saying fuck it and make a bare-bones version, but I know I really need to think about the design completely before implementing it.
