It looks like it's going to hit the west coast tomorrow. This is serious, it will cause flooding, mudslides, crazy-high winds. This could kill thousands of people. I just heard about this for the first time today.

Seems like Hurricane Patricia weakened quickly and did relatively little damage despite making landfall as a category 5.
