  • The most surreal thing I have seen in years: Dennis Rodman

  • Somehow, we still tolerate each other. Eventually this will be the only forum left.

Well, he WAS in WCW back in the 90's :P

...And it just keeps getting weird:

I am wondering if Sacha Baron Cohen is going to make a sequel to The Dictator? Rodman and Un have provided more than enough material just in the last couple of months.

If he doing this for the money or for some sort of publicly, it's a crazy dangerous game he's playing.

He's not playing any game, he's sipping the North Korea kool-aid, and completely overlooking any human rights issues because his buddy Kim is rich and treating him like a king when he goes there. He's probably getting more love in North Korea then he's gotten in the US for the last 10-15 years. How dangerous is it for him really? They might detain him for some period of time, but they won't risk executing an American citizen.

I think it's pretty dumb they're asking him about the political stuff though, like did they expect him to say "Sure I'll tell my buddy to free the detained dude". I'm also surprised some of the basketball players are complaining about the trip while they're still in North Korea. Then again, I had a history teacher who got a bunch of high school students to USSR back when it was the USSR, and these guys are talking about democracy and stuff and came back and found their luggage was searched (probably on purpose, to warn them), and the teacher is like 'everyone shut up, I still want to get out of this place alive.'
