I keep getting these strange politically motivated oil company ads. These guys seem to be working their ads into my video experience even harder than Molson, Labatt, Coors, and Budweiser combined. They all take on the form of poorly acted testimonials and well behaved dinner table conversations directed at an American audience.
This one is the one that keeps hitting my videos the most:
I find it kind of humorous seeing the camera panning around with the calm commercialized hillbilly music, everyone listening to this guy intently as though it were a candid conversation. Somehow, we have to believe that a guy at a dinner table is going to start off a conversation with "Ah'm a rancher, and ah wanna know how woll the Keystone XL pipeline benefit the Unotted States."
I call this one John MacFail:
Remember, the Corporations of "Canadian" oil Czars are your friendly neighbours!
