So is his support for torture, Bush's wars, the organized slaughter of a few hundred thousand people by NATO forces - because these things were supported by a President, they seem to be completely normalized, despite the fact that they killed probably half a million people and that over a hundred people provably died of state-sponsored torture.

It doesn't make them right, or Joe's behavior here less hypocritical. Just because society supports something, that doesn't make that something right and ethical.

History is full of examples of times when complete and utter psychopathy was normalized by societal leaders.

1) I have been very clear to you and others here over the years about my opposition to Naziism (remember that I am half-Jewish and have thus been aggressively demeaned by neo-Nazis myself, called an "Edomite usurper's descendant" or descendant of Herod and other things, and threatened).
