Could we have Ruminations back?

Politics and such are obviously going to be big topics over the next few years. Ruminations would be a good forum for that.

I'm also interested in writing some more in depth posts on certain other topics, and I think a forum like Ruminations for all such topics would be more ideal than Daily Stuph, Movies and Music, or Gamethought.

We shut the forum down in the past because we had much more time on our hands than was healthy. At worst, if things don't work out, we shut it down again.

Thoughts?

My 2 cents: Politics fit in Daily Stuph. Traffic being where it is - I dont see any real need to open another forum. I am pretty uninterested in politics and currently have no trouble avoiding those topics. The only one Ive really considered is Creations - but since none of us are posting any art/music/etc, I havent bothered.

Nevertheless, I am not moderating. Kali is the one you have to convince.

I don't really think that the forums are active enough to need a reopening of a subforum. Daily Stuph isn't active enough to warrant needing a subforum to separate serious politics from memes, daily thoughts/venting, and other dumb things.

And if the motivation to reopen a subforum was about derailing then I'm just not sure it'd be effective >_>
