I just don't know if I can. The new Total Recall stars Colin Farrel with two of the hottest women in Hollywood (Biel and Beckinsale), Bryan Cranston as Cohagen, and even Bill Nighy as Kuato. The real problems are:
1) you're trying to remake a Verhoven film. That mad Dutchman was brilliant in making odd movies work well. There's a reason no one's ever remade a movie of his
2) it's Len Wiseman. The Underworld movies were OK but it's not like there's a good pedigree there
3) freakin' Colin Farrel. I don't hate the guy or anything but he's trying to take over from Ahnold, not exactly the guy to do it IMO
I really want it to be good as in the right hands, I think a Total Recall remake would be phenomenal (so would Robocop; very sad to hear Aronofsky pulled out of that one, he's one of the few I would trust to remake Verhoven). But Len Wisemen, really? The previews, once they're released, will hopefully quell my fears, I just don't have faith they will

I was there on that fateful day, were you?
