It's pretty rare to have a noteworthy manga (good or bad) to talk about let alone two of them but sometimes interesting stuff do show up...
Alice in Borderland
This features the most nonepic epic battle ever in manga. Alice in Borderland is a bunch of Alice in Wonderland themed character who got kidnapped by aliens and forced to participate in stupid games or get shot by alien death rays. We have two non-Alice themed characters, Hikaru and LastBoss, face off in a duel to the death, and as they're utterly irrelevent characters to the plot, they have arguably the most epic irrelevent fight. LastBoss is a guy who lives in his parent's basement and mastered a thousand ways to brutally murder someone from what he read on the Internet, and he's got a full body tattoo that makes him look like a menacing character. Hikaru is a guy who once trained under a master martial artist's tutelege when he was 5, and turned out to be totally unable to cut it as a martial artist and ran away and had a sex change to forget about the whole event ever happened. The two non-powerhouses face off in a battle to the death, with LastBoss using a katana because everyone knows katana trumps guns based on the Internet. Hikaru recalled his training was going to parry LastBoss's katana and combo into a super arts finish. LastBoss swings his katana and misses badly, but Hikaru falls on the ground because he's too scared to actually try to parry a katana. LastBoss gives a standard "Internet tough guy talk" about how he'll finish Hikaru off with the next move. At this point, Hikaru realized that LastBoss is really just an Internet tough guy, so that means he ought to be able to beat him even though he's a wimp because at least he had some martial arts training. Also LastBoss had a very cheap katana it's completely rusted from the blood of all the other guy he killed earlier. Hikaru blocked the katana with a plastic water bottle (don't ask) and then kicked LastBoss to death, and realizes that even a wimp like him can be strong as long as there's someone he wants to protect.
And then Aguni, a guy who is Street Fighter strong (he killed a bear with his bare hands), kills Hikaru in one hit.
Most manga tries to make everything somehow relevent, but honestly most fights between people with no formal training of any kind isn't going to look very interesting. This fight is really two normal guys leaning closer to the Internet nerd than even say a jock fighting to the death, and there's no glory and it didn't even mattered because they were just going to get killed by someone who has formal martial arts training or a gun. And it gets across the point that these games are obviously meant to be completely senseless and people are just fighting for presumably the entertainment of their unseen alien captors.
Sakura Sakura
In the distant future in Japan, due to a lack of interest in making babies Japan is at a population crisis. The few babies that are born are known as The Last Generation. In an attempt to restore a dying country the nation of Japan created some kind of ideal condition for one of the few boys left and surround him with the few girls (all 2 of them) still left in Japan. It's pretty much completely average and otherwise unnoteworthy except for the fact that, the story concept is totally backwards. If you've a population crisis, as long as you're not down to just one man, it's the woman that are valuable, not the other way around. There is absolutely nothing special even if the main character is the only boy of his generation because as long as there are adult man around that are interested in having babies, there's absolutely no need for him!
Maybe it's because the Japanese can't figure that child-bearing capable females are far more important than sexually active males is why they got into this mess in the first place. I'm still waiting for the moment when the guys behind the scenes that are manipulating this have a 'duh' moment and realize that they shouldn't waste all 2 of the nation's child-bearing capable girls around a guy who hasn't even hit puberty.
