This movie is hysterical, if you're a fan of this particular clique of actors in any way shape or form, I highly recommend it, they poke fun at themselves, they poke fun at horror, and parody, and just about everything else they can. Just great laughs all around.

Been planning on catching this one and haven't yet good to see more positive word of mouth though.

I saw it last weekend and while i thought some areas dragged it was overall a good movie. Had some laugh out loud moments, for sure.

I liked it a lot, too. I think being a fan of the clique is almost essential to enjoyment, though.

I never realized the actors were a 'crew', so to speak, like the Hangover or Wedding Crasher/Old School guys, but i always liked each of the This is the End actors in their individual movies, true.

I know a lot of people probably had to look up who Danny McBride was after this movie, but I'm glad i got to see him on his East Bound and Down show on HBO before it was cancelled. His character in the movie was totally Kenny Powers'esque..

EDIT: Looks like HBO actually picked up a short fourth season that airs later this year. Yay!

Yeah they've known each other for 10+ years or so and have done a bunch of projects together, but not all together (or maybe all together, but some of them with very short cameos, don't quote me on that). Sometimes they mix and match each other into and out of projects and they end up being hard to recognize as a group since some of them will do something like write or produce while others are doing the acting.

I like Danny McBride but I'm having trouble watching East Bound and Down lately. Getting rid of Andy Daly as a regular was a tragedy (and I'm assuming he won't be coming back this season since everything I've heard of him lately has him REALLY busy with a Comedy Central show) and the series just gets more and more off the wall. McBride's short bit in that movie Seth Rogen starred in (Observe and Report) was fucking genius, though.

For some reason I just spelled his name as Danny McBridge two times without noticing.
