Rurouni Kenshin special edition - Seems to be based on the live action movie. In this version Kenshin's scar turns red when he becomes the Battosai, which, as the author noted, was totally not obvious which is why at the very end when he's fighting the Gambit guy the author had the Gambit guy point this out or otherwise no one would ever notice. The guy wearing the skull mask turns out to be a handsome guy instead (the author said people complained in the original when he turned out to be an ugly old guy, even though the author said the reason he wore a mask is because he's an ugly old man!) The guy wearing the camo suit with the armor now uses a gauntlet made out of liquid metal (Japan has some pretty amazing technology back in the Meiji era) that can absorb any damage. In this version Kenshin's ultimate move has been changed to the 9 hit combo move. Unlike the original there's no inner drama over Kenshin's decision to stop killing people. It was more like he just decided to stop killing people one day just because killing people is bad.
Ah My Goddess - After an epic motorcycle race to determine the fate of Heaven and Hell, Keiichi marries Belldandy and AMG finally comes to an end after 20 or so years of boredom. The best part of the last 10 years of AMG is the Lady of the Lake needs an axe but she only has a rusty axe, so she threw the axe down the lake, offered herself the golden and silver axe, and turned it down because she was a honest person, and ends up keeping the golden axe and starts chopping stuff up. I'm not even sure how this ties in to the rest of the story, not that there is a story in AMG to begin with, but it's hilarious.
Sergeant Frog (Sergeant Keroro) - Another series that has gone on for way too long, though at least the Black Star makes things slightly less boring. I don't think the author gets the fact that seeing the Kerons always foiled in their attempt to conquer Earth is not funny, because the Kerons are actually fairly badly outmatched by earthlings. The whole Dororo betraying the Kerons to join the earth defense force is just dumb because first, earth was never remotely close to losing against Kerons, and second, most of the Kerons are at least as strong as Dororo even though the author apparently thinks Dororo is supposed to be the greatest Keron or something. But we know he can only fight Giroro to a draw when Giroro has his lightsaber (he usually does not), and Zoruru is slightly stronger than him. Keroro in his Super Saiyan mode is way stronger than Dororo, not that it matters since even a Super Saiyan frog is still nowhere close to a match against a normal human being. Anyway, the Black Star is apparently a frog bred for pure conquest in the ancient times back when Kerons actually conquered earth in the dinosaur era but had to pull back for some unknown reason, so the Black Star can actually beat normal human beings in terms of physical power.
Screaming Class - The same format is getting dragged on, though there are some interesting twists. We're finally getting people who figured out that if you're going to sell your soul to invoke the spirit of Chuck Norris you should make sure you totally kill everyone instead of giving those guys a chance to sell their souls too to invoke the spirit of Chuck Norris themselves. Also, in one of the recent story the protagonist was going to run off and get ran over by a car like how the protagonist usually dies in Screaming Class, but she was saved from certain doom, only to then get stabbed in the back by the spirit of Chuck Norris. That's progress!
