Never order from them. Fucking abysmally slow.

Eight? Eight business days? I order shit from Amazon, select two-day shipping, and it arrives the next day. What the fuck are you using Best Buy online for? There is only Amazon. Eventually, all stores will be Amazon.Imakeholesinu wrote:It took 2 weeks for me to get Inception on Blu-Ray. 11 Business days, when I was told it would take no more than 8.
Which blows, because I actively try NOT to use Amazon for some stuff (which is a lot easier as a Canadian since amazon.ca is a mere shadow of amazon.com as far as what we can buy). I don't like Amazon, and the latest Wikileaks BS makes me dislike them more.SineSwiper wrote:There is only Amazon. Eventually, all stores will be Amazon.
Any particular reason why you dislike Amazon (besides the Wikileaks stuff you mentioned)?Oracle wrote:Which blows, because I actively try NOT to use Amazon for some stuff (which is a lot easier as a Canadian since amazon.ca is a mere shadow of amazon.com as far as what we can buy). Like he said, as Canadians, we get FAR less selection than you guys do. It's not nearly as good up hereLox wrote:Any particular reason why you dislike Amazon (besides the Wikileaks stuff you mentioned)?Oracle wrote:Which blows, because I actively try NOT to use Amazon for some stuff (which is a lot easier as a Canadian since amazon.ca is a mere shadow of amazon.com as far as what we can buy). I'm also really not a fan of how they abuse the Kindle in some ways, such as removing books from their store due to ethical issues, and therefore also remove the book from Kindles which have purchased it. Yes, they may offer a refund, but reaching on to a device that someone OWNS and removing something they purchased is exceptionally greasy in my opinion. The Kindle is a great device, but Amazon just loves to lock it down as much as possible. Probably why I hate Apple as well.Lox wrote:Any particular reason why you dislike Amazon (besides the Wikileaks stuff you mentioned)?Oracle wrote:Which blows, because I actively try NOT to use Amazon for some stuff (which is a lot easier as a Canadian since amazon.ca is a mere shadow of amazon.com as far as what we can buy). I thought that was a one time thing that got them a lot of bad press.Oracle wrote:I'm also really not a fan of how they abuse the Kindle in some ways, such as removing books from their store due to ethical issues, and therefore also remove the book from Kindles which have purchased it.
