Just finished watching the series and I really enjoyed it. Any word on more episodes? From my searches online I see they're coming out with a live-action movie.

The live action is out already, subtitled.

I liked it a lot, I thnk it is over-hyped a bit though. There are a ton of different anime shows out there that I liked a lot better, but I think the accessibility of this show has really opened up people to anime that may have not been very familiar with it or seen much.

The live action movie is hot garbage cancer, avoid.

They are releasing a high school comedy anime next year of AoT for some reason.

No word on a real Season 2 yet.

I read a lot of the manga a year or two ago and got the impression that this was the kind of series that's going to keep going and going and going. I might check it out again if it maintains a good reputation by, say, season nine.

While it does ham it up for dramatic moments, it's light on filler. I understand the appeal.

Does the storyline of the Manga advance farther than the first season or is that it?

Yes, the anime is way behind where the manga is.
