Anybody think that Dido should have appeared at the Grammy's instead of Elton John? After all, it was HER song.

<div style='font: 11pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", Modern; text-align: left; '>Eminem and Elton John appeared and did Eminem's Stan with EJ doing the piano/singing part that is from Dido's song "Thank You". Frankly, EJ's singing didn't do the song justice.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt Modern; text-align: left; '>I doubt that. When you're in the music business you usually have respect for other artists in the same field, especially those that are accomplished like Elton John. I'm pretty sure Eminem isn't concerned with pleasing the general public.</div>
Well, what really made me smile was...

<div style='font: 9pt Verdana, Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Modern; text-align: left; padding: 0% 0% 0% 1%; '>Stan is Mather's most straightforward song about the self-image artists put on themsevles and the reality behind it. Any shit about Mathers, no, Eminem, was centered around said self-image. Elton John is an artist who is both talented and sells his self-image. Mathers and Elton both have these images that should by all right come into conflict, yet both artists are singing about sold images, and present a very different image at the end (which involved the camera lowering down an inch or so to avoid Mather's raised middle finger).
There's a very beautiful irony behind the whole thing.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial, Modern; text-align: left; '>Well, but there's also the fact that Elton stuck up for Eminen on countless occassions, even back before the album (these interviews from last year). That was also a key part in it, because he said he was "glad to do it" rather than just "going along."</div>

<div style='font: 9pt arial, Modern; text-align: left; '>Do you honestly mean to assert that Eminem, the artist who has, as of late, been hounded nonstop by pro-homosexual groups for his anti-gay lyrics, simply picked Elton John, one of the world's most prominent and respected gay performers, simply for the lone fact that he is a good musician? That's a pretty big stretch.</div>
