So, how many people here have actually seen Memento? How many saw it based on Kupek's and my recommendation? How many are planning on seeing it? Just curious

Coincidentally, I was just about to post a message here on it. I just saw it last night....

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>I saw it based mostly on recommendations of people here. The movie itself was totally badass. It was an ingenius concept. "Let's make a movie about a guy who can't remember anything for more than 10 minutes and let's make the plot run backwards so the audience is just as confused about what's going on as he is." I shoulda thought of this shit, man. My only problem was that I don't think he'd really be fit to drive an automobile - at least not as well as they portrayed in the movie. Not only would he continuously forget where he was going, but assuming that he was in an unfamiliar town, he would have no idea how to get where he was going. Of course, that's just a minor detail.
Btw, this brings up a question I've been wondering about. Do movies fuck with your heads as much as they do mine? When I'm watching a movie I get very wrapped up in what's going on. The story becomes a sort of reality to me. Whenever I finish watching a movie I tend to get very disoriented. Everything feels fake to me.
This rang especially true with Memento. I got stuck in that backwards mindset for about 2 hours after the movie was over, and totally lost my concept of temporal reality. It felt like everything I did was before the last thing that I did.
Just some thoughts. Does anyone else get like this?</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>lol. I get engrossed in a movie, but once it's over, it's over. Also, you can easily drive a car if you don't have a memory, you just won't ever know where you're going :-)</div>
