  • From Mr Cranky's review of "Rollerball": "Chris Klein is like Keanu Reeves without any talent. There. I've said it. Frankly, I have a hard time even comprehending that sentence and its terrible implications"  Ouch.

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>You're implying Keanu Reeves has talent. He's a 2D character in every movie he's been in. He relies on the supporting cast and the plot/action to get him through every movie</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Of course, but you missed the operative word in my post: "relies". Gary Oldman NEVER "relies" on the other actors or scripts, he's the one others rely on. Same with Robert De Niro or Al Pacino. That's what you call a good actor.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>He plays a lot of villians, yes, but he's the exact opposite of a typecast actor. I've seen him in around 7 films and he's never even similar from one role to the next. The reason he picks villians often is because they're a helluva lot more interesting than protaganists, for the most part.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Not at all, but he was a static, 2D character that relied on a fun script (I wouldn't call it "good" even though it is one of my fav action flicks) with some pretty good supporting acting (Gary Oldman and Ian Holm come to mind; hell, Milla was pretty good too).
