Japanese launch is nov 14 2013
9,480 Yen ~$100 for the console
14,980 Yen ~$150 for the console + 8GB memory card and a white DS3
Accepts physical Vita cards
Plays PS1 and PSP games
PS4 remote play, can play Vita games through PS4, so yes also DualShock 4 support
You can remote play PS4 games through PS Vita TV on a tv in another room (WTF DAVID BLAINE)

Look guys. I know our Vita sucks balls, but at least with this, you can play these sucky games at home, and pretend you have the latest next gen console.

Seriously. The Vita games are awesome. It just sucks that the thing is too expensive for most people and that there aren't enough games on it.

And now it's a $100 Vita basically, I mean there's value there right?

Especially if you're a PS Plus member and you're already getting PSP/PS Vita games but don't own the damn things.

I think Sony is still using their own cards, this comes with an 8GB Card. It also runs all PSN games, and has a slot for physical Vita games.

It also plays PSP digital games, but as I'm not sure anyone has said yet - it doesn't play all Vita games. Some games are not supported because of the lack of touch screen junk on the PS3 controller (I think that's the reason given?)
