Heh, that was good. And I liked this one for anyone thinking of getting one of the new systems. Can't remember if it was posted here or not but it's well done

I was going to post a Hipster Kitty pic, but Memegenerator seems to be bogged down.Eric wrote:I don't wonder, I know why, you're a hipster nerd!SineSwiper wrote:And people wonder why I buy indie games all the time.
No. CT was $70, which was similar to other SNES games at the time. In fact, there was a lot of buzz about how SNES game prices were way too high.Don wrote:Chrono Trigger was $100 back in the SNES era and it was considerably more expensive than other games of that time but it was still a good buy because it was that much better as a game.
Maybe in the US but up here in Canada, you were lookin' at $90 or $93 + 15% tax, over $100SineSwiper wrote:No. CT was $70, which was similar to other SNES games at the time. DLC is not price segregation. Games have a set release price that is normal for its type. For non-indie games, the price is $60. Period. DLC and pre-orders and collector's editions are just ways of adding more to the base price, while maintaining the illusion of the game being the same price as others.
