Blizzard's new IP: Overwatch(Team Fortress 3?!)
- Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.
I'm cautiously optimistic at best. It looks cool, but who knows?
I feel like it will be far to spammy with all the unique abilities and 'ultimates', but who knows. I personally think Heroes of the Storm is trash compared to DoTA2 or even LoL, but to be fair I have yet to play Heroes as a 5-stack.
Well it's definitely a step in the right direction compared to a SC2 mod :D
Interesting, HOTS is the first MOBA I didn't hate to play. This is also coming from a guy who has played 920 games of DoTA2 and probably around 200 in LoL.
Based off a Twitch guy I sub to, in his opinion HOTS is just as intricate mechanics-wise. It's just most people don't really give it enough of a chance.
The joke answer is that you can't buy boots so it must be for casuals.
I've decided that I'm probably done with MOBAs forever. At the end of the night they don't make me feel satisfied or more relaxed which is what I want from gaming. They mostly just make me feel anxiety.
Overwatch looks like I could potentially have fun with it if it isn't overly boiled down like, say, Diablo 3. There's a point where you try to boil a game down into pure fun and the sum of all its parts is pretty fun, but has abandoned the things that actually makes it interesting to play.
