On paper, this is everything I want in a game. Even as far back as...what was it ...Dragon Warrior III with the town you "create"?...the coolest feature in games has always been base management with RPG elements. Hell, I think a lot of people like this kinda stuff -- the base/settlement mods in TES/Fallout are always the most popular.

Anyway, the reviews are pretty good. I am almost...ALMOST...tempted to buy another working 360 to play it. I am teetering on the edge. Anyone play it and have an opinion?

Bah...none of you jumped on an open world zombie survival game? Slackers. I am still on the fence (about rebuying a 360), but a PC release supposedly isn't far away.

I would check out a game like this on the PC if the buzz is positive but I'd never heard of it before.

Nothing but leftovers (DLC, F2P games like Path of the Exile) on my plate for the PC until Rome 2 Total War

Bah -- too much yer plate. Sounds like gaming is a job and you are all old men :)

I'll patiently wait on the PC version I guess. Sounds like it is still a pretty buggy game, so hopefully some of that will be ironed out.

Yeah I watched that quick play link and it looked like a decent game that could become an awesome one with another several months of dev time.

Gaming was only a job when I played World of Warcraft rofl. 6 hours+ a day 4-5 days a week, obligated hours for progression that effected other people!

Now I just play games on my laptop or vita/3ds @ work when it's slow, and PS3/360 @ home if I have time. Hobby status!

I did re-buy a 360 for this game. Was it worth it? No...but it was still a pretty decent XBLA game and look forward to DLC/sequel. So no regrets.

The basic idea is solid, it's just a little shallow in its execution and lack a persistent sandbox mode. I understand they are going for a multiplayer expansion as well...I'm not sure they have the chops to do it right, but we will see.

You sold your 360? Loser. (Though, if it was victim to a RROD, I can understand that one.)

There's plenty of other good indie and XBLA games to buy for 360 besides. (Really, just buy One Finger Death Punch.)

I didn't feel like giving MS money for another refurb -- so I tossed my final 360 in the trash like a year or two ago (I forget). RROD is a good reason I will tell Xbone to go screw itself next gen. I really don't feel as if I missed out on anything...besides maybe EA's NHL series.

State of Decay sounded cool enough that I didn't want to wait for the PC release and I hit Craigslist. $40 bucks, so I don't really care if it dies again. MS still sucks though -- all that overpriced shit in the XBL interface is a joke and the Ads are idiotic.
