Xbox 360 Indie Game - Survivalist

Now, normally 99% of games on indie marketplace can be universally described as utter shit -- the only variation is usually whether a game is so bad, it accidentally ends up amusing. Perhaps I am just being pessimistic.
That said, I stumbled upon what I think is a real gem - Survivalist - after being disappointed in State of Decay's DLC and looking for something new. And I want to rave a bit about since I think it is a game that deserves more recognition and should be played.
It is basically part RPG, part Sim and set in the near-future /zombie apocalypse. You are forced to venture out of your bunker after 365 days and the game starts from there. There is a storyline to follow (Other characters, who you [Joe] are, and a number of twists), and quests to complete, but you could just as easily ignore all that and focus solely on building a base / community. As a complete package though, it works really well.
Two things strike me about this game. The first is how big it is...for $2.99, there is easily 30+ hours of gameplay here. That's easily the best 3 bucks I've ever spent on a game. Second is how many little details and touches were added. Subtle things you notice -- like the ability to go "off script" for the quests, if you actively look for an alternative. Shadows moving as the day cycles. Physics on the terrain. Character AI (looting, farming, trading). The creator obviously cares.
If you have a 360 and have 3 bucks lying around - give this game a shot. It is really, surprisingly good. Obviously, have realistic expectation though -- the game is like 150 megs after all.
