<div style='font: 9pt arial, Modern; text-align: left; '>Did all the necessary steps to permanently open the Ruins (last area) for Amberyl in normal difficulty. She's up to level 27 now. 208 HP, 278 TP, attack is 446 (490 with Shifta level 3 cast), defense is 141 (158 with Deband level 3), magic is 252. My mag's around level 150, shifting between Bhirava and another evolution (the latter I think I'll keep - I like it, and I can raise IQ and Synchro with atomizers).
Found a kick-ass Seize Buster +2...like I said, 446 attack power, and the real kicker - 35% Dark affinity. With Shifta, I was doing about 95 damage per weak attack with an older 25% Dark Buster...so I imagine that the extra 10% will boost me to about 105-110 per normal strike, and upwards of 200 per strong strike.
If you're a HUnewearl, make a point to raise your magic/TP levels. Some people scoff that if you want magic, make a Force. I highly disagree. I'm never going to be as strong as a HUcast or a HUmar who emphasizes power over magic, but I've got staying power like nobody's business. And in the Ruins (and presumably Hard and beyond), you need support spells running, or you will get your ass kicked. Casting Shifta and Deband before each room, as well as a Resta when needed, really adds up after a while, and while fluids are an option, I like to only use those in emergencies. I just like having the ability to use as many support spells as I want, whenever I want, without having to worry about running out of TP or whatnot.
Fun as hell. The Ruins music absolutely rocks. And I can go toe to toe with several Delsabers without a worry (and that's saying something, if you haven't had the joy of meeting Delsabers yet).
This game fucking rocks.</div>

"For one thing to live, another thing must be killed. God, or whoever is responsible, deserves respect for creating such a system. It reveals that we cannot take all matters into our own hands. We need only to focus on doing our best--a simple, yet profound way to live, is it not?"
