  • Idea for memory cards...

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 14pt Draconwick, Modern; text-align: left; '>If I remember correctly memory cards run off of batteries. When these batteries run out all the data is lost from the card and your screwed. Why don't they use a system that will recharge the batteries when it is plugged into the system and the system is on. Thoughts?</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial, Modern; text-align: left; '>They use flash-memory. That basically is permenant. You're thinking of cartridge games, and those use a memory-based battery which stores data (and not solely reliant on electricity which can simply be recharged).</div>
