Anybody else with older Dramcasts have any problems playing Skies of Arcadia?

<div style='font: 10pt papyrus, Modern; text-align: left; padding: 0% 15% 0% 15%; '>I picked the game up from EB to only to find disc one doesn't work. So then I booted up disc two and picked 'new game', put in disc one at the prompt, and then I was greeted with a continuous black screen. Tried this again several times, same results.

So I took it back to EB and, since it was their last copy, got my money back. Went to Future Shop and bought another copy ($15 cheaper than EB, of course) only to get the exact same results.

Anybody else experience or hear about this? I'm pretty sure it'd my DC, but it works fine with every other game and demo disc I have. What the fuck is up with that?</div>

<div style='font: bold 11pt Modern; text-align: left; '>everything works, including the second disc but the first disc doesn't. he brought the game over to my house and it worked fine. he works at the video game department of a big store and tried a couple of copies but they were all no good on his system.

he ended up borrowing his friends Dreamcast for a couple of weeks, so the only thing i can say is find a friend that would do that for you, preferably someone who doesn't play RPGs.</div>
