  • Alright, here are my more full Impressions of Conker's BFD,

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 12pt Modern; text-align: left; '>The gameplay is definetly close to the level seen in Zelda Majora's Mask, as is the fun factor.

It uses a modified engine of Banjo Kazooie, but the game is completely different, while Banjo Kazooie had you running around gathering Music notes jumping from level to level in the order of your choice, Conker's gameplay is much more straight forward and task oriented. Donkey Kong was even worse than Banjo Kazooie by a long shot despight all the innovations in the game itself. The Gameplay seen in Conker is much MUCH more compelling than anything I've ever seen in any platformer to date. I'd go as far as to say that it is the best Platformer to date including 2D.

Length, most people say it is 14-16 hours, and unlike Sonic Adventure where you go through the levels with modifications for each character, in Conker, once you're done, you're done.

Graphics, excellent, almost flawless, if you zoom around, you'll notice that Rare has used tricks to show a vast amount of scenary with very good detail as well as the extremely detailed current surroundings, the same as Banjo Kazooie but improved greatly. The graphics are on the level of Majora's Mask.

Sound, it's better than most games on any of Nintendo's consoles ever, all the dialog is voice acted as well as shown in text.

Fun Factor, this game is a blast! I think the last time I remember having this much fun playing a Platformer was Super Mario World, maybe even not that, maybe Super Mario Brothers 3 would be more accurate.

You'll also find a lot of cutscene's in this game, you can't skip them the first time through, but the second time through you can, they're all hilarious =)

It has a feature where it saves at certain points all throughout the game so you can go back and relive them whenever you want without it interfering with your game, an excellent feature. One that makes the game feel very polished, and indeed it is, so far, I have no complaints about anything.

Multyplayer is MUCH better than the one seen in Donkey Kong and Jet Force Gemini, I was surprised by how good it was, although thanks to the amazing single player mode, I still haven't had time to play more than a few 5 minute 3 person FFA games.

Just one thing not to forget, DON'T forget your Action Button, B, like some did in Zelda, though in Conker it shows a little lightbulb above your head when you can use it in some parts you might not normally know you can. The Action button is different than Zelda however, it has been expanded on and improved to give variety.

The levels are more or less Parodies of famous movies including, The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan, Terminator II, etc...

Overall, this game KICKS some serious ass, there's never been anything like it. The humor is definetly similar to South Park. Will you love it, YES YOU WILL!</div>
