I'm tempted to take Donald at his word and accept his challenge - especially in an era where the Midwest sees repeated "bomb cyclones", the East Coast a procession of hurricanes, and the West a succession of mind-shattering wildfires.
The Green New Deal could be a fantastic thing for America - replacing oil eventually with hydrogen, gasoline with EV's, and fossil fuel plants all over with a 21st-century two-way grid in which Americans would be allowed to resell electricity generated by their own homes and properties at competitive rates.
