The Other Worlds Shrine

Your place for discussion about RPGs, gaming, music, movies, anime, computers, sports, and any other stuff we care to talk about...

  • quick Thoughts on games I finished or played over the past couple weeks that are never discussed in here....other than SOA and PSO

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: italic bold 14pt Modern; text-align: left; '>Phantasy Star Online - fun but uninteresting. beat it. won't touch it again. Shit the story from diablo was even better than this one. really uninteresting story....

Skies Of Arcadia - I love this game. It is absolutely gorgeous and amazing to play. I declare that I love this game and speaking of which I just started it again and am going to play through a couple more times to find anything I've missed. The battle system had some flaws but other than that it was almost perfect

Shen Mue - Real let down. Still a great game but I was expecting more. I keep playing the game just for the fights. They make this game worthwhile.

Final Fantasy IX - fucking amazing game. It is.....wow.....A bit on the easy side but it's story was great. IT's graphics were amazing and Vivi is the coolest piece of shit in existence. I say this is the best ff game on playsatation.

Final Fantasy Tactics - God that game was a bitch. I finally finished it after I bought it a couple weeks ago....I can't believe I found it) and damn it was a great game. I'd say it had some major problems though. I mean hell my 6 year old cousin has beter spelling and grammeer than whatever fucking idiot translated this game. I think the best part may have been playing through and laughing at the shitty as hell translation

Shining Force 1 & 2- Started both shining forces again this weekend. Amazing games. It is still the main reason I held onto my genny I mean the games are so well done and have been some of my favorite games ever. They are the besrt oif the SRPG's

Baldur's Gate, Baldurs Gate 2, Icewind Dale - Damn. I don't know many poeple who like these games but they are my favorite computer game RPG's to date. I play them all religiously and love them to death. There is no better on computer....And I hate D&D style games usuially.

That's not all but I'll stop there for now....</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Modern; text-align: left; '>FFT definetly had bad spelling, but FF7 had much worse grammar</div>

<div style='font: italic bold 14pt Modern; text-align: left; '>Exactly. That what made the game good. Other than the fact it was fun at least</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Modern; text-align: left; '>I liked the gameplay in FFT, that's what made it good for me, Final Fantasy 1 was the game where it was fun to pick the mistakes out</div>

<div style='font: 9pt Arial, Modern; text-align: left; '>Horrible grammar made FFT good? Ah, I see. This must be the secret behind all good RPGs.</div>
