  • Unlike Red, ~I~ saw a motion picture today.....IN THE THEATER! =8^) "Traffic" is one hell of a film!

  • Your favorite band sucks, and you have terrible taste in movies.

<div style='font: 9pt Arial, Modern; text-align: left; '>Hell, yes, Traffic is a great film. If it loses out to "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" for best picture, I'll be sorely disappointed.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS", Modern; text-align: left; '>Well, you can rest about that one. I think Gladiator has it in the cards to win. Crouching should win for Best Foriegn Film though.</div>

<div style='font: bold 11pt Modern; text-align: left; '>a bunch of us just had a huge dinner at WWF New York. it was late, we went to a crappy theater and it was damn crowded. almost fell asleep a couple of times, the color in those Mexican shots really didn't help.

on any another day, it would have been an awesome movie.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt arial, Modern; text-align: left; '>Why the hell is Gladiator even nominated as best picture? It was a good action film, but it was JUST an action film</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Modern; text-align: left; '>WHAT?! Damn you. Gladiator had a *very* good plot and incredible acting. It was a real old-school throwback to the old Roman epics (where real acting also happened). It was an off year for films, but Gladiator deserves the nod given the competition (or lack thereof)...</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS", Modern; text-align: left; '>Commodus actually DID participate in the Arena. Lots of people DID want him dead as he was one paranoid dictator. And you know what paranoid dictators do - they kill people.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Modern; text-align: left; '>Sure it would have. Everyone was shocked in the movie. And besides, it wasn't like it was unusual for a Roman emporer to be killed by a foe...and like Joe said, a lot of people wanted him dead anyway....</div>
