<div style='font: 14pt Agatha; text-align: left; '>...and I'm enjoying it a lot so far. It's old school, but I'm not holding that against it. The graphics outside of battle are first gen PSX, if not worse than last gen SNES, and the FMV is laughable even when you don't compare it to Square. The fact that the character designs are laughable doesn't really help. The in battle graphics are cool and it's neat to finally see animated enemies in a DQ game. But even though the graphics are crap, they don't detract too much I think. The gameplay is classic and I'm enjoying it a lot. I've felt that a lot of games lately haven't had enough battles, even the ones with a kick ass battle systems like Valkyrie Profile. I haven't gotten far enough to try out the job class system yet, but I'm definately looking forward to it. I'm a sucker for systems like this. I spent far more time and had far more fun building up jobs and abilities in FFT than I did actually playing the story portion of the game. The pacing in DQ7 is pretty freaking skewed so far though. It took me a better part of 2.5 hours to get to the first fight and there seems to be some serious downtime with no fighting or adventuring between dungeons. But I've only just unsealed the 2nd island so I don't know if it'll pick up or anything. Anyway, I'm enjoying it a lot despite how many people want to heap shit on it *cough* Don *cough*.</div>
