  • GAMECUBE! Heard any rumors that GC will be released earlier? Smart! "I just spent $200 on a GC and $100 on two games - why spend another $400 for Xbox?"

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS"; text-align: left; '>It's not the most powerful and it's not for graphic whores (ie <img src="xbox sucks"> fan boys I've seen on other message boards) =8^D but it's got the new Rogue Squadron! And with Luigi's Castle, I'm sure it's got quite an enjoyable gameplay! Which is what matters most.

Only game that worries me is Legend of Zelda. The cel-shaded toon characters have a purpose : to draw in younger gamers. And with younger gamers, that MAY mean that the gameplay will be simplified further for their "toddler level" eye-hand coordination. But we'll see.

Then there's the remake of Resident Evil! YEAH! Now...if they can make the character movement as good as Devil May Cry....I'm set!

As for <img src="xbox sucks"> games....I'll wait til they port the games over to the PC. I'm quite sure that among the three systems, <img src="xbox sucks"> will have the highest proportion of games being ported to the PC. IMO, most games on the PS2 and GC are mainly console oriented. Whereas <img src="xbox sucks"> will get most of its games from old PC developers.

Now...since you all know that <img src="xbox sucks"> is gonna be built in Mexico and the US....like Ford cars, I can see how bad the quality will be. =8^D</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "Times New Roman"; text-align: left; '>Now, It's doubtless that thousands upon thousands of children will iritate their parents crazy to purchase them one (thanks to years of Nintendo's pavlovian conditioning), but the new generation of consoles seems to me like it's finally shooting for the older crowd. Over the last decade, it seemed that each progressive wave of hardware was aiming higher and higher in the age brackets, but this time the childhood/preeteen hurdle has clearly been shattered. That being said, Nintendo is still aiming at the younger crowd and hopeless nostalgics (Metroid <b>was</b> pretty cool, but that was 7 bloody years ago) with the 1st generation of games with few exceptions (Perhaps Rogue Squadron 2, PSO v2.1). It will be interesting to see how everything pans out. Then again, I don't plan on buying a console, so what-the-fuck-ever, bitches.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>And all for cheaper than one "<img src="thexbox">" =)

Well, I also plan on Picking up Eternal Darkness, I've been waiting for this game since back when it was supposed to be on N64, also will probably pick up Smash Brothers. Luigi's Mansion and Pikmin are possibilities once I start hearing more about them. I guess Resident Evil 0 if it's out before the end of the year.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS"; text-align: left; '>What about Rogue Squadron? That's gotta kick ass! Though it may not compare much to Ace Combat 4, it's still a Star Wars game (okay, so they're usually not that good)!</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS"; text-align: left; '>We'll see. The N64 one was inferior to Ace Combat 2. Don't know about this GC version. Anyway, it'll be mine. So there! BTW, DW3 is out this 15th.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Neither of them were that hard, I beat both games in one two day rental period (separately, of course). Both games had their charm. Rogue Squadron was a good game set in the Star Wars universe, but AC2 was more intense and had more varied missions.</div>
