  • This is just sad.

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

If they had an /accountinfo that opens up a browser to access your account people will probably think it's okay. What's wrong with pizza? There's a /mp3 command too in original EQ.

Dude.

Put down the mouse.

Stand up.

Get off your ass and walk to the goddamn phone, you lazy piece of shit.

It's brilliantly stupid, but come on. It makes sense, I'm surprised nobody's come up with this before now, but honestly.

There's nothing wrong with it, it just makes me shake my head in disbelief.

Next project: find a way to receive the pizza without the daunting task of walking to the door.

Pfft. My point stands. It takes almost no time at all to pick up the phone and call a pizza place, and it'd certainly be no faster ordering online, if not outright slower.

This is nothing but Sony managing to sweettalk their way into some money from Pizza Hut. It's not some sort of gift to the gamers or some revolutionary idea.

It's stupid. It's brilliantly stupid, but it's still stupid.

I order my pizza online exclusively. Albeit, it is from papa john's website and not from a game. I do it because it is easier to order a complicated order like half pineapple half onion and i can rest assured i will get regular crust instead of thin crust, etc. People that work at those places are idiots and if i can avoid them i will, even if it takes a few more minutes.

Oh yeah Tort, I think you ought to submit your pizza.txt to bash.org. You'd get a ton of votes for it for sure.

I've ordered pizza online before, but it's not like it's any more convenient. You still have to take the time out to check the boxes and fill in the address and whatnot. Might as well grab the phone and play while placing your order.

I will continue to disagree. Once you are set up, your address is saved as is your credit card # (paying by credit is also an adavtage). Again, you dont have to worry about knuckleheads messing up your order, either.

if it wasn't making money, it wouldn't be happening, and that's really the key to whether it's good for the economy and people in general.

While I think the Sony deal is fucking stupid, I've ordered pizza online plenty of times. It's a lot better than dealing with the phone, and less screw ups. Plus, you can look at all of the deals they have at the time without needing to search for coupons.

Dude, you can order pizza online? How did I go through four fucking years of college without knowing this?

That's a strange metric for determing if something is good for people in general.

The fast food guys always screw up my special orders too. I wish I could enter the stuff myself because I know which flags they need for the order not to get messed up (e.g. if you want an Ultimate Cheeseburger plain it has to be cheeseburger + no mayo + no ketchup + no mustard to have it process correctly, whereas if you put plain sometimes it ends up with no cheese).

<CrashCat> it is disturbing how the 'health care professional' is making the universal gesture for 'tasty italian food'
