Apparently, scientists in California have discovered a 10th planet, farther out and bigger than Pluto - <a href="http://observer.guardian.co.uk/internat ... .html">and have named it Xena.</a>

We used to name our planets after gods...now we name them after characters from TV shows.

Haha...there are three of them actually (new "planets" in the Kuiper belt). I think at least two are bigger than Pluto.

I'll expect your paper on the significance of Xena: Warrior Princess in modern mythology on my desk by tomorrow. ;)

My bad, only one of them is bigger than Pluto. Seems like our solar system is full of stuff...

Though it has been argued that Pluto is not a true planet; the text books won't change though.

As for naming a planet Xena, I think that's fairly ridiculous. Calisto was much more cool =)
